Nuts are good sources of protein and they contain a small amount of carbohydrates. They are best eaten as snacks, but they can also be used in baking pastries and added to salads. Walnuts contain less carbohydrates as compared to peanuts and almonds.

Carbohydrates, in general, is not bad for our health. Everything taken in excess is bad, whether it be carbohydrates, fats, or protein. Too much carbohydrates can lead to diabetes, too little carbohydrates depletes us of energy we need to do our daily tasks.. Therefore, it is wise to always eat a balanced meal every day.
